Davis Cup Final 2013 in Belgrade, Serbia

The final of Davis Cup took place in capital city of Serbia, Belgrade, where home team invited team of the Czech republic. On Serbian side was injured Tipsarevic and out was also Troicki, due to "doping case", so with lead of Novak Djokovic was as number 2 Dusan Lajovic. On the Czech side were all the current stars as Berdych and Stepanek (no3 Rosol and no4 Hajek). Non playing czech coach Navratil couldnt come with team as he suffered illness and had to go for surgery (everything gone well, so is healthy now). He was substitued for that game by Mr. Safarik. Final had exciting atmosphere in Beograd arena, there were about 16000 people. After first day was score 1:1, Djokovic beat Stepanek 3:0 and same Berdych vs Lajovic. Second day was really deciding as doubles were more important than anything. Berdych/Stepanek destroyed Zimonjic/Bozoljac 3:0 and there were lots of discussiones why Novak Djokovic didnt played. Last day Djokovic equalized for 2:2 as he beat Berdych 3:0, but Stepanek with his experience removed Lajovic 6:3 6:1 and 6:1 and Czech team could celebrate!
